Sara does a lot of volunteer work through her membership in Top Teens of America, Girl Scouts, National Honor Society and People to People International. Some of her service hours include working at PADS, Boys & Girls Club Holiday Shopping, Wrapping and Party Volunteer, Sunrise Assisted Living Old School Prom, and Great Lakes Veterans Hospital Songs and Games. Next Fall Sara plans to attend college and study Hospitality Management.
December

Colton Hill, senior at Warren Township High School is the current President of the local Chapter People to People International Chapter. Here is a caption of why he believes volunteering in his community is so important.
"You don't do community service for something in return. You don't do it because you have to. You don't do it beacuse you feel obligated to. You do it because you want to. You do it for others. The most important idea is that people should volunteer to do 'good,' because others would do the same for you."
"Just like how one sun does not outshine a group of stars, volunteerism and community service are about creating a helpful and lasting change in the community. The most important part of this, however, is that it is from the community. One person isn't enough. A candle is great, but a group of stars that burn brighter and longer is even better".
January
Paige Kaplan: Daughter of Steve & Holly. Paige attends Warren Township High School where she is a member of National Honor Society and is an AP Scholar.
